Job Description
Bill international government/ITGBL orders. Verifies and
compares quotes/TMSS rates on file to actual cost. Enter correct
billing charges into the system. Verifies billing paperwork,
distributes revenue to drivers and individual branches. Pays all
vendor invoices associated with each move. Post amounts to accounts
receivable, verifies receipt of correct distributions. Adjust
records and initiates corrective action when necessary.
Frequent contact with international forwarders, agents and
vendors concerning rating, billing and international distribution.
Work is performed in a normal office environment. This position
must maintain up-to-date information with regard to all tariffs and
distribution formulas.
Job Requirements
Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Some college
preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of general office experience with
an emphasis on accounting, and/or moving industry.
Licenses, Certifications, and/or Registrations: None
required.
Other Minimum Qualifications: General knowledge of tariffs, rate
structures and terminology preferred. Must be proficient with a PC,
and knowledgeable of beginning Excel and Word programs. Math
ability and ability to use a calculator is a must.
