Industry Veteran David A. Gonzalez Joins Hilldrup Companies as Senior Vice President of International Business Development

Stafford, VA. (August 23, 2010) – Hilldrup Companies is thrilled to announce that industry veteran David A. Gonzalez will be joining the company as the Senior Vice President for International Business Development.  David will be part of the Hilldrup senior management team and be located at the corporate office in Stafford, Virginia.  He will begin his new role on August 23, 2010.

David brings 29 years of experience in the international transportation industry.  Most recently, he served as vice president of sales and marketing for St. Louis, Missouri-based UniGroup Worldwide UTS.  He directed and led the design and development of the global service offerings for international customers.  His international transportation industry experience also includes senior management and executive sales positions with some of the industry’s leading van lines and international freight forwarders.

David has spent 12 years living and working in Saudi Arabia and Indonesia.  He is a former Governor of the American Chamber of Commerce in Indonesia, a director on the AMSA’s International Steering Committee and was recently appointed to service on the Global Advisory Council to the Worldwide ERC’s Board of Directors Executive Committee.

He and his wife Gillian have two children and will shortly relocate to Virginia.
