Hilldrup Companies and United Van Lines CEO part of CBS Hit Series “Undercover Boss”

United Van Lines CEO Richard McClure profiled on hit series March 13, 2011.

Stafford, VA. (March 21, 2011) – Hilldrup Companies was excited their facilities and three of their employees were chosen to be part of the CBS hit TV show “Undercover Boss” that aired on Sunday, March 13, 2011. The show profiled United Van Lines CEO Richard McClure going undercover to work with different United Van Lines agents around the country. His undercover role was to work together with staff from different agents to learn how their decisions impacted the total operations of the United Van Lines.

Jimmy Sanchez, a Hilldrup owner-operator based in the Hilldrup Orlando branch, was one of the first to experience working with CEO McClure. Jimmy was responsible for helping him learn how to plan and pack a move for a residential customer in Florida. He has more than 14 years of experience in the moving industry.

Ronald Ruiz and Ruth Portillo, a local packing team based in the corporate office in Stafford, Virginia, were part of the residential moving team working with CEO McClure. They were responsible for helping him learn how to efficiently create and execute a packing plan.
