Bill & Revenue Analyst
Billing international orders. Verify and compare quote to actual cost. Enter correct billing charges into the United system. Verifies billing paperwork and distribute revenue to drivers, sales persons, United Van Lines, and individual branches. Post amounts to accounts receivable and verifies receipt of correct distributions. Adjusts records and initiates corrective action when necessary. Frequent contact with United Van Lines, international forwarders, agents and customers concerning rating, billing and international distribution. This position must maintain up-to-date information with regard to all tariffs and distribution formulas.
Education: 2/4-year college degree in business administration, accounting, finance or related field preferred or equivalent work experience.
Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years’ billing experience in an office environment with 1-2 years’ experience in the moving and storage industry preferred.
Licenses, Certifications, and/or Registrations: None required.
Other Minimum Qualifications: General knowledge of tariffs, rate structures, moving and storage industry terminology preferred. Must be proficient with PC applications. Strong analytical skills. Ability to work in a fast pace environment that requires to meet deadlines, excellent attention to detail. Able to work independently with minimum supervision. Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize and multi-task with high volumes of work. Ability to read and interpret math.
