Quality Assurance Coordinator
Monitors and coordinates activities which affect attainment of stated quality service goals and performance standards. Ensure consistent quality service to customers through direct involvement with Packers and Movers. Frequent interaction with customers, both Hilldrup and United Van Lines partners, to alleviate problematic situations on the job. Act as a liaison between customer and crew overcoming difficult and challenging situations. Coordinate with various departments and activities aimed at the goal of complete customer satisfaction. Heavy emphasis on quality reporting. Some travel may be required.
Education: High school diploma required; College degree strongly preferred or equivalent work experience.
Experience: Household goods (packer, driver, operations) or quality control and claims experience very beneficial. Strong customer service experience required.
Licenses, Certifications, and/or Registrations: Valid Virginia driver’s license and good driving record.
Other Minimum Qualifications: Must possess good communication skills, both oral and written. Must be capable of critiquing Packer and Van Operator work performance and correcting noted deficiencies. Strong practical PC knowledge to include spreadsheets is essential, particularly Excel. Must be able to be flexible in working long hours, particularly in peak season.
