Senior Commercial Bill & Revenue Analyst
Analyze all cost sheets to ensure that the charges are accurate and authorized based on the services performed. Identifies discrepancies and work with sales consultants, coordinators and branches to resolve. Recognizes revenue and invoices customers, based on the analysis, per contract terms and correctly compensate branches, sales consultants and contractors. Adjusts general ledger based on compensation and initiates corrective action when necessary.
Frequent contact with United Van Lines, move coordinators, drivers, agents and customers regarding rating, billing, revenue distribution and collections. This position must maintain up-to-date information with regard to all tariffs, distribution formulas and government contracts.
Education: 2/4-year college degree in business administration, accounting, finance or related field preferred or equivalent work experience.
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years’ billing experience in an office environment with 3-5 years’ experience in the moving and storage industry preferred.
Licenses, Certifications, and/or Registrations: None required.
Other Minimum Qualifications: General knowledge of tariffs, rate structures, moving and storage industry terminology preferred. Must be proficient with PC applications. Experience working with excel spreadsheets preferred. Strong analytical skills. Ability to work in a fast pace environment that requires to meet deadlines, excellent attention to detail. Able to work independently with minimum supervision. Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize and multi-task with high volumes of work.
