Warehouse Manager (Lawrenceville, GA)
Basic Job Function
Coordinates and controls the flow of tonnage in and out of the warehouse; processes warehouse paperwork and maintains warehouse files; schedules warehouse personnel to maximize efficiency, keep claims down, and ensure profitability. Assistant to and provides backup for Local Operations Manager.
Minimum Job Qualifications Required
Education: 2 to 4-year college degree or equivalent work experience.
Experience: 2 to 3 years of moving & storage experience; one to two years warehousing and supervisory experience.
Licenses, Certifications, and/or Registrations: Certified Weighmaster; valid Georgia operator’s license.
Other Minimum Qualifications: Computer literacy; basic math skills; good communication and problem-solving skills; knowledge of forklifts and their operation; knowledge of fire suppression sprinkler systems and their maintenance.
