Hilldrup Atlanta is always willing to lend a hand when our team, customers and community need us most. Recently, the Hilldrup Atlanta team jumped into action to assist a non-profit that we’re proud to support, Move For Hunger.

Move For Hunger is an organization dedicated to working with relocation companies to collect non-perishable food items across North America. Our partnership with them allows Hilldrup to do our part to reduce food waste and fight hunger.

Hilldrup Atlanta was contacted after two properties in Athens, GA collected food donations from their student residents upon move out. When the assigned volunteer was unable to fulfill the obligation of moving the donations, Hilldrup came to the rescue. Time was of the essence as the communities were in need of having the food picked up before the start of the week to make room for new students who would be moving in.

Thankfully, Brandi Hatch, Office Manager – Hilldrup Atlanta, and Kathleen Toney, Commercial Coordinator – Hilldrup Atlanta, were able to assign one of our drivers who was within the Athens area to pick up the food donations which were delivered to the Food Bank of Northeast Georgia. Our team delivered over 50 bags of food, which totaled over 700 pounds!
