Sponsoring and Attending RUW’s Women of Influence Award Luncheon
We were honored to sponsor and attend RUW’s first Women of Influence Award Luncheon in honor of the late Cathy Davis.
Hilldrup was pleased to sponsor and attend Rappahannock United Way’s first Women of Influence Award Luncheon on October 12. A handful of the incredible women who make up Team Hilldrup attended this special sold-out event where the legacy of Cathy Davis was remembered, and Linda Worrell was celebrated as the recipient of the 2022 Woman of Influence Award in Cathy’s honor.
The luncheon event, which took place at Stevenson Ridge, was also a fundraiser for Rappahannock United Way’s Prosper Mentoring Program in honor of Cathy and her unwavering commitment to always give back and support the needs of the Fredericksburg area community. All proceeds from the event supported Rappahannock United Way’s Women at Work initiatives.
We were excited to attend and join in congratulating Linda Worrell as the recipient of this inaugural award as presented by Rappahannock United Way. Linda has been impacting the Fredericksburg community and local businesses for over 30 years. In addition to her business leadership, Linda has been a generous donor, mentor, role model and supporter of Rappahannock United Way, Women United and similar non-profits.
During the inaugural event, there were raffles and a wonderful silent auction selection to participate in with all proceeds going toward Rappahannock United Way’s programs.

We loved being a part of the luncheon, and we look forward to continuing to support RUW’s programs and all they do to improve the lives, businesses and communities within the area!
Congratulations to Fredericksburg’s Linda Worrell, Rappahannock United Way’s 2022 Woman of Influence Award Recipient! We were inspired by Linda’s work ethic and commitment to giving back which was celebrated in honor of the late Cathy Davis.
Every detail was so beautiful and well thought-out – from the décor and menu, to the raffle and auctioned items – at the event, which took place at Stevenson Ridge in Spotsylvania.
