Moved to Action Q4 Recap
To close out the final quarter of our inaugural Moved to Action year, see how we supported our communities through the pillars of health, hunger and housing.
In 2025 we began our inaugural year of our community engagement program, Moved to Action. The year has been filled with unique, impactful opportunities to give back to the communities where we live and work – specifically, though Moved to Action’s 3 pillars of efforts focused on health, hunger and housing.
The last quarter of the year proved full of chances to support underserved communities and individuals as the holidays approached. Learn how we gave back below!
Stafford, VA
Our corporate HQ team arrived bright and early to lend a hand with theFredericksburg Regional Food Bank to support their mission of providing food donations to the greater Fredericksburg community. The event was a few short days before Thanksgiving – where food is certainly top of mind! Together, we sorted and packed food donations to help do our part to feed our community ahead of the holiday season.
Stafford also transported food and water donations for the Rappahannock Area YMCA for its 5K Turkey Trot in Fredericksburg, VA on Thanksgiving!
Our furry friends at the Fredericksburg SCPA also received support from our Stafford team thanks to our professionals who transported cat condos from Calypso Boarding Kennels to the SCPA of Fredericksburg. Not only did the new homes improve the quality of life for the shelter’s cats and kittens but it also expanded the SPCA’s ability to care for even more felines in need.

Richmond, VA
Hilldrup was proud to sponsor the 62nd Children’s Hospital Foundation Ball in support of Children’s Hospital of Richmond (CHoR). We’ve worked closely to support the needs of CHoR since late 2023 from delivering care packages to patients to hosting lemonade stands.
This year’s most meaningful highlight was the focus of the fundraising efforts: the expansion of CHoR’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

Greenville, SC
Working to meet the needs of underserved kids and teens during the holidays was an effort we were happy to support through the United Way of Greenville County’s Project Joy program. In December, our Greenville branch sponsored 3 students by fulfilling their wish list for the holidays. From clothing to toiletries and even a gift or two that they’d enjoy throughout the year – we were happy to give back to these middle and high school students to ensure they have what they need to be happy and healthy through the holidays and beyond.

Charlotte, NC
For the second year, Hilldrup Charlotte was a sponsor and participant in the Charlotte Turkey Trot which took place on Thanksgiving Day. Focused on getting our community up and moving for a morning focused on health, fun and community, we were on-site as a sponsor of the 2026 event!

Raleigh-Durham, NC
Our Raleigh-Durham team donated funds to purchase clothes, toiletries and non-perishable foods to InterAct in Wake County, North Carolina. As the only provider of domestic violence and sexual assault services in Wake County, InterAct is providing critical work, and we were happy to be a small part of their outreach!

Orlando, FL
Just before Christmas, our Orlando team volunteered with the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Florida. Together, we brought ingredients that we purchased to prepare food and desserts. The event “Baking Buddies” was a great opportunity to prepare food for the guests there. Our team prepared two entrees, with salad and breadsticks, as well as two dessert options for children and families staying at the Ronald McDonald House in Lake Nona, FL. Our team also cleaned up to ensure that everything was spotless.
In addition, Hilldrup Orlando also sponsored a team to participate in the 2025 Greater Orlando Heart Walk with the American Heart Association. The event brought together nearly 20,000 walkers and 120 companies to collectively raise over $1.7 million for heart health. The walk was an outstanding success, and we look forward to having an even larger group join us in 2026!

We look forward to continuing our program into 2026 and beyond! If you missed them, check out our Moved to Action Q1 as well as Q2 and Q3 recaps!
