Fitz Blassingame Named Winner for Van Operator of the Month by United
Congratulations to Fitz who has been recognized by United Van Lines for outstanding Van Operator performance!
On the heels of being recognized in August 2025 by United Van Lines, Fitz Blassingame has been once again honored on the national level for outstanding Van Operator performance. This time, he was recognized as a Winner for Van Operator of the Month for September 2025 within United’s East Region.
A professional based out of Hilldrup’s headquarters in Stafford, VA, Fitz’s commitment to his customers and the high standards of Hilldrup and United Van Lines have earned him national acclaim. In August, Fitz was named as a Runner-up in the East Region out of the thousands of drivers who make up United’s network of Van Operators.
“I’m very thankful for the recognition. I just wanted to say thanks to everyone at Hilldrup for their support,” shared Fitz. “They made it possible – thanks to everyone.”
Simply to qualify for Van Operator of the Month, a Van Operator must meet or exceed a range of statistical criteria that encompass the Van Operator’s performance. We couldn’t be prouder of Fitz who took these standards and set his own level of excellence to each.
These qualifications include:
- Be qualified in the UniGroup system, the parent company of United Van Lines, for the previous 12 months;
- Log more than 25,000 miles in the previous 12 months;
- Must be a 1-Rated van operator at time of selection;
- Earn a Safety Performance Rating (SPR) rating of at least 10,000;
- Have no more than 6.0 total points in VTOP, or Van Operator Total Performance, as part of an online system that keeps track of Van Operators SPR points and overall rating and
- Have zero Compliance, Safety and Accountability (CSA) points in last 12 months and less than 30 CSA points for past two years.
