It’s a celebration that our entire organization looks forward to each year – Hilldrup’s Best of the Best Awards, to honor the employees who shined brightest throughout the previous year. This year’s award presentation and dinner was held on February 6^th at historic downtown Fredericksburg’s 718 Venue. Together we highlighted the wins, stories and most importantly – the professionals – who made our success in 2023 possible.

Our 6^th annual award event is inspired by Hilldrup’s Mission, Vision and Values, which guide our organization and each of our employees in our goal to be the best moving services company, period.

The awards presentation began with a welcome message from Charles W. McDaniel, President & CEO, who spoke to how the event is truly a celebration of those who know how much accountability, performance and results matter – on an individual level as well as to our organization.

George Roth, Vice President, Residential Sales, and Justin Mahon, Vice President, Workplace Solutions also presented a gift in thanks to Onie Girton who was responsible for our wildly successful 2024 All Sales Meeting, which took place earlier that day.

Branch of the Year

Congratulations to Hilldrup’s Atlanta branch and professionals for earning our 2023 Branch of the Year! Our team is led by Hilldrup Atlanta’s Vice President and General Manager, Ed Haeussler (above). The Branch of the Year award encompasses a wide range of key metrics that include revenue, quality, safety, claims and overall profitability to determine which of Hilldrup’s branches was most successful overall. From our office and sales professionals to our Operations teams who serve the Atlanta metropolitan area and beyond, well done!

Hilldrup Van Operator of the Year

Hilldrup’s 2023 Van Operator of the Year is Wallace Wyatt! Wallace is a long-distance Van Operator whose consistency in delivering excellence across multiple metrics of Van Operator performance earned him this top honor. To be considered for Van Operator of the Year, Wallace maintained the following: being a 1-rated driver; 67,000 miles driven from coast to coast with zero safety infractions; an over 97% customer service rating; less than 1% in claims on total revenue hauled and 98% for electronic updating via Stride for all paperwork. Incredible results! What makes Wallace stand out most however is that he goes after any job in front of him – no matter what’s required, where it’s located or what team will be supporting him out on the road. A true testament to his leadership and character! We’re extremely thankful to have Wallace as a part of Team Hilldrup and honored to name him as our 2023 Van Operator of the Year!
