Hilldrup continued its tradition of top honors at UniGroup’s 2022 Learning Conference in St. Louis! The team was especially thrilled to attend the event in person, following its virtual format last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Beyond the awards and celebrations, this year’s event carried additional significance as it was led by Hilldrup’s President and CEO, Charles W. McDaniel, who was elected chairman of UniGroup in October 2021. Earlier in the year, he was named interim chairman following a three-year tenure as vice chairman. As chairman, Charles worked with the leadership team at UniGroup to ensure the strategic initiatives of the team were shared through the general sessions and breakout discussions.  In addition to speaking to these goals and initiatives during the general session, Charles, along with UniGroup CEO Jason Mills, led leadership panels further discussing these strategies and plans for the upcoming year.  The theme of this year’s Learning Conference, Together, Moving the World Forward, is inspired by many of these goals and initiatives that UniGroup and its leadership team and board have set forth.

Heart of Quality – 1,200 Plus Shipments – Winner, Sandy Schaaf 

Sandy Schaaf was recognized for earning the Heart of Quality Award under the category of 1,200 Plus Shipments. The United Heart of Quality Award recognizes move coordinators across the van line who provide customers with exceptional service as measured by their customers’ post-move surveys from the previous year. We’re so excited to see Sandy recognized for her dedication and service to all her clients and colleagues!

Masters Club and Inner Circle Honors

Fifteen Hilldrup team members were named to the 2021 Masters Club list – a company record and one of the most of all United Van Lines and Mayflower agents for the year! The Masters Club recognizes United and Mayflower agents who exemplify outstanding sales performance within the previous year.

Hilldrup’s Masters Club honorees include our entire residential team, a first for the company. Two of the honorees, Onie Girton, Senior Vice President, Sales and Client Services, and Robert Gallucci, Senior Vice President, Client Engagement, also were named to the Inner Circle list, which honors the top six individuals in each sales category.

Our National Account, Government, and International business lines all were named as the top agent in terms of sales for their respective category!

Hilldrup also took home the Hauling Award, Household Goods – Third Place and the President’s Club Award – $32 Million.

The Hilldrup organization is honored and humbled to be recognized as the third highest producer in the 2022 United President’s Club.  Being recognized as one of the top producers of this fine enterprise amongst our talented peers means a tremendous amount to our entire organization and is a testament to the teamwork of our employees at each of our locations.  Contributing to the overall success of UniGroup and the agency family is a great source of pride for all of us, and we’re thankful to be a part of this agency family with such outstanding agents.  We are grateful for and thank our valued customers, our employees and contractors and the UniGroup family, and we look forward to continuing to be a contributing leader in the years to come.

Finally, for an unprecedented 26^th time, Hilldrup was honored with UniGroup’s 2022 Customer Excellence Award, once again, affirming our unwavering commitment to our customers.
