Hilldrup Stafford’s own, Dennis Putnam Jr., was recognized as United Van Lines’ May 2020 Runner-Up for Van Operator of the Month within the Household Goods category for the Great Lakes/SE Region.

Dennis is a professional in the moving and storage industry, truly representing the best of Hilldrup and of the industry itself! Dennis has been honored as United Van Lines’ 2012 Van Operator of the Year and the American Moving and Storage Association’s (AMSA) 2013 Super Van Operator – Household Goods. We are thrilled that Dennis has continued to be recognized for his commitment to safety, quality and customer satisfaction in all that he does!

In order to qualify for Van Operator of the Month, a van operator must meet a range of criteria encompassing every area of van operator performance. These categories include customer service, safety and claims prevention, excellent communication, among others.

To be eligible for the award, the van operator must:

  • Be qualified in the UniGroup system for at least 12 months
  • Successfully have driven 50,000 miles based on a 12-month period
  • Earn a minimum safety performance rating of 25,000
  • Hold a 100 in safety
  • Rate a 1 on a scale of 1 – 5, with 1 being the best, in the areas of Claims, Compliance Safety Accountability, Customer Service, and Updating.
