Travel + Leisure Corporate Headquarters Relocation
Relocating 980 employees and decommissioning a seven-floor headquarters within a 30-day execution window.
Travel + Leisure Co., the world’s largest vacation ownership company, relocated its corporate headquarters to downtown Orlando as part of a growth initiative supported by incentives from the City of Orlando and an expiring lease.
Hilldrup was selected to coordinate the relocation of the company’s seven-floor headquarters facility, including workplace relocation, furniture management, decommissioning and storage services.
Project Challenge
The relocation was originally planned as a three-month phased project before the schedule was compressed into a 30-day execution window. Travel + Leisure needed to relocate 980 employees across seven floors while decommissioning the existing headquarters, maintaining business continuity and preparing the facility for turnover.

Hilldrup’s Approach
Hilldrup coordinated relocation, decommissioning and storage as parallel workstreams. The project included:
- Coordinating final delivery of select assets to Nashville, TN
- Sequencing floor-by-floor moves to maintain active business continuity
- Performing decommissioning alongside move activities
- Making real-time decisions on asset disposition, including reuse, storage and removal

Results
Hilldrup completed the project within the 30-day execution window while supporting Travel + Leisure’s operational, facility turnover and ESG objectives. The project resulted in:
- Responsible asset disposition to support landfill diversion
- On-schedule relocation and decommissioning
- Zero business disruption and zero employee downtime
- Landlord-ready turnover with no penalties
- Immediate activation of the new headquarters
