Team Hilldrup is Moved to Action | Q2 and Q3
From food banks to animal shelters, learn how Team Hilldrup has been Moved to Action across our markets!
As a leader in residential moving, employe mobility, logistics and workplace services, there’s no doubt that the spring and summer months are some of our most demanding. And yet Team Hilldrup continued to deliver when it came to giving their time and efforts to support our local communities.
Hilldrup’s community engagement program, Moved to Action, has inspired us to get involved in a variety of projects. Check out our efforts below!
Atlanta, GA – The Pantry at Hamilton Mill
Team Atlanta has been Moved to Action with our friends at The Pantry at Hamilton Mill once again! Our employees sorted frozen proteins to create over 150 bags, each with 4-5 pounds of quality food, to ensure families had delicious meals to keep them full and healthy. Thank you to Hilldrup’s Kathleen Toney, Destiny Landing, Harrison Brown and Robert Driggers for participating!

Stafford, VA – Marine Corps Historic Half
Our Stafford team was up bright and early at 5:30am to support water stations during the Marine Corps Historic Half in Fredericksburg, VA. Over 5,100 participants ran the half marathon in 2025!
Supporting the events that the U.S. Marine Corps sponsors, from the Historic Half to Toys for Tots, has always been a priority as our organization’s headquarters is based just minutes from Marine Corps Base Quantico.
“We were thrilled to participate in the 18th annual Marine Corps Historic Half as a sponsor and as volunteers! It was a rewarding opportunity to support the race participants through cheering and passing out water, and we had fun as a team,” shared Jordan McDaniel Hinkebein, Sr. Director of Internal Communications and Special Projects. “The Marine Corps base is just a few miles north of our Stafford corporate headquarters, so it’s always nice to support our neighbors and the Marine Corps, a branch that many of our employees proudly served with.”
Thank you to Jordan McDaniel Hinkebein, Onie Girton, Jimmy and Monica Murray, Robert Bingaman (Bingy), John Seal and George Roth for representing Hilldrup!

Charlotte, NC – Charlotte-Mecklenburg Animal Care & Control
Charlotte’s local news station, WBTV, shared that the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Animal Care & Control was in dire need of newsprint to line the cages for its residents. Dennis Crawley, Project Manager for Workplace Solutions, and Dina Alexander, Sr. Office Manager, heard the request on-air and knew our Charlotte branch had lots of used paper to share.
Dennis, along with Michael Byers and Nate Garrison, gathered two speed packs of paper, and after being at work in 100-degree temperatures since 6:30am that summer day, jumped at the chance to help the shelter.
“We were so happy we could help and anything we can do to bring attention and promote adopting some of these fur babies would be wonderful. In fact, Dennis has his eye on two of the dogs that he saw while he was there!” shared Dina.
Fantastic job, Team Charlotte!

Greenville, SC – PAL: Play. Advocate. Live Well – Spartanburg, SC
In September, our Greenville team immediately got to work to assist our neighbors at PAL: Play. Advocate. Live Well., a non-profit organization focused on health and wellness.
PAL required a copier and two sets of shelves to be moved from the Piedmont Fairgrounds to the PAL office – a short distance but a move that required special trucks and handling for the pick-up and delivery to be seamless. Our Greenville team provided a driver and helper to pick up and transport the office furniture to PAL’s office.
Our friends at PAL shared, “At PAL, our mission is to create opportunities for active living and healthy eating for everyone, centered around Spartanburg County. Having support in moving this large piece of equipment was more than just a helping hand—it was a powerful example of how community collaboration makes our mission possible. Together, we’re building a healthier, more connected Spartanburg.”
We were happy to be of service and lend a hand – and truck – to assist our local neighbor!

That’s a wrap on our efforts from Q2 and Q3! If you missed our Q1 recap, be sure to check that out here! We look forward to sharing about our Q4 efforts to capture our first full year of our Moved to Action progress and its success!
