Hilldrup Announces Multiple Promotions in Operations

We are excited to share a number of promotions that have taken place amongst our Operations teams throughout the Washington, D.C., Maryland and Virginia (DMV) area.

Hilldrup is excited to share a number of promotions that have taken place amongst our Operations teams throughout the Washington, D.C., Maryland and Virginia (DMV) area. All promotions further streamline our efforts to continue providing excellent service to our customers throughout the DMV market and beyond.

Operational Leadership

  • Rob Williams will continue to lead Hilldrup’s Forestville, MD branch as Director, Operations. Rob’s leadership in the DMV has been exemplary since Hilldrup’s acquisition of the Dulles, VA and Forestville, MD offices and warehouses in 2018. Now, he will focus his vast industry knowledge and experience on the Forestville branch specifically.
  • Rodney Ortiz has been promoted to Director, Operations and will lead our office in Dulles. In his role, Rodney will be responsible for the overall operational performance at Dulles and serve as an escalation point when necessary.
  • Tim Licata has been promoted to Director, Operations and will lead our office in Stafford, VA. In this role, Tim will oversee the operational performance for Stafford and serve as an escalation point when necessary.
  • Caesar Lovett has been promoted to Director, Fleet Operations. He will be responsible for Long Distance Van Operators in regards to their contributions to safety, claims and quality. Caesar will also oversee onboarding, training and the technology adoption of all Long Distance Van Operators.
  • Carl Tisdale will now serve as Director, Fleet Planning. He will have greater responsibility for successfully directing the planning and execution of all Hilldrup Long Distance orders.
  • Danny Dent has been promoted to Director, Facilities and will be responsible for all Hilldrup facilities at Dulles, Forestville and Stafford.  Danny’s efforts will focus on the maintenance of grounds and facilities at Hilldrup’s Stafford headquarters and the other DMV branch locations.

Stafford Local Operations

  • Scott Fillis has been promoted to Warehouse Manager and will assume responsibility for Warehouse operations in Stafford.
  • Tyler Strawn will take on the role of Senior Local Planner in Stafford. His chief responsibility will focus on local and short-haul planning.
  •  Lynn Comstock will fulfill responsibilities as Team Lead, Administration in Stafford. Lynn will provide oversight and serve as an escalation point for all administrative functions in Stafford.
