Recently, Stafford County Public Schools hosted their annual event, Band Together to Fight Hunger. The event, now in its ninth year, brings together all five Stafford County high school marching bands to not only perform but also raise awareness and donations to fight hunger in the community.

Hilldrup’s Stafford branch was honored to be a part of this year’s efforts, which directly benefits the Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank (FRFB). With Hilldrup as an event donor, our very own Mary Katherine Wood, Residential Sales Consultant, presented a “big check” to the marching band drum majors, the Director of the FRFB, and several community leaders present at the event. The check, made out for our $500 donation, will go towards the Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank.

We were glad to have been a part of such a wonderful event to truly join the fight against hunger as we “band” together. We look forward to supporting the Band Together to Fight Hunger initiative in the future and are thankful for all that this event does for our community!

Volunteers organize food donations into Hilldrup moving boxes

We’re proud to give back in any way we can to those in our local communities – whether providing financial contributions, food donations, or even our moving boxes!
