Hilldrup Gets Moving for Stafford Hospital Virtual 5K

Our healthcare workers continue to go above and beyond to keep us healthy and safe. It’s one of the many reasons Hilldrup was proud to be able to virtually participate and sponsor Stafford Hospital’s annual 5K Walk/Run!

Get up, get out and get moving! That’s exactly what Hilldrup employees did in support of Stafford Hospital’s Cabin Fever 5K. The annual event took place virtually, from April 9 – 18, allowing individuals and families to walk or run in support of a great cause.

Healthcare workers certainly went the distance for our local community in 2020 and continue to do so today. As part of this event, it was our pleasure to assist Stafford Hospital and their employees in their mission, “to improve the health of the people in the communities we serve,” as a sponsor of the event. In fact, all race proceeds directly benefit the Stafford Hospital Foundation and helps fund various programs and services to the public.

Thank you to each of our employees who participated along city canals, country battlefields and private trails to complete their 5K. Our participants included:

  • Shelly Snyder, Executive Assistant
  • Jami McKenna, Director, Client Services
  • Toni Mohrman, Bill/Order Processor
  • Gary Boxley, Client Services Consultant
  • Ashley Lamb, International Senior Move Manager
  • Leslie Tanner, Senior Administrative Assistance, Customer Assistance
  • Bridget Dern, Corporate Communications Strategist

Thank you to all who made this event possible for our team and for the local community. We look forward to lacing up our sneakers again for Stafford Hospital next year!

Jami McKenna participated in the virtual Stafford 5K event

Hilldrup’s Jami McKenna, Director, Client Services, participated in this year’s virtual event. Although the pandemic couldn’t allow us all to run together, we look forward to when we’ll be able to do so again! Toni Mohrman, Bill/Order Processor, and her daughter, Emily Setlock, headed out to complete their 5K by enjoying the canal path in Fredericksburg, VA. We’re grateful for beautiful weather and our families’ support for this year’s event!

Bridget Dern, Corporate Communications Strategist, and her dog, Summer, completed the 5K event in Spotsylvania Court House Battlefield. With so many great trails and walking paths, there were plenty of ways to complete the 5K!
