On May 30th, Hilldrup was honored to receive the 2018 Stafford Cornerstone Award in recognition of Hilldrup’s legacy and direct impact on the local community in terms of economic growth, workforce contributions and charitable giving. The award was presented during Stafford County’s 27th Annual Business Appreciation Reception hosted by the Stafford County Economic Development Authority (EDA).

Every year, the Stafford County EDA dedicates an evening to celebrating Stafford’s diverse business community and to thank its local business leaders. This year, the event, whose theme was “Meet Our Regional Partners,” took place at Potomac Point Winery. Mr. Don Newlin, Vice Chairman of the Stafford Economic Development Authority, presented the award to Hilldrup President and CEO, Charles W. McDaniel during the reception.

It’s no secret that Hilldrup is committed to giving back to the communities where we work and live; in fact, giving back has become an integral part of our employee culture. We’re proud to support local organizations such as the Rappahannock United Way, Boys & Girls Club of the Rappahannock Region, and Gwyneth’s Gift Foundation.

Thank you to the Stafford County EDA for this impressive accolade; we truly appreciate this wonderful recognition and are proud to be in Stafford!
