Stafford celebrates and gives this December
Hilldrup’s Stafford branch knows how to celebrate the holidays. On December 15, the branch had its Christmas party at Splitsville in Fredericksburg.
Hilldrup’s Stafford branch knows how to celebrate the holidays.
On December 15, the branch had its Christmas party at Splitsville in Fredericksburg. DJ Mike Smart kicked off the 
night and the party included everything from drinks, games and prizes to a selfie station complete with a backdrop and props. Guests were encouraged to share their selfies on Facebook using the hashtag #hilldrupfortheholidays. The picture with the most likes won a prize. Congratulations to Candy Farmer who won with 89 likes!
During the Christmas party, Hilldrup gave out several prizes to retired guests, employees one year and under and employees and contractors of more than one year. Prizes included cash, a Go Pro, Yeti Cooler, Bose Bluetooth Wireless Speakers, Beats by Dre headphones and an Ultra 50 Inch Vizio TV.
Our GRAND PRIZE for employees/contractors working with Hilldrup for one year and over was a trip for two to Las Vegas, including:
- 4 days, 3 nights with suite accommodations in a luxury hotel
- Roundtrip Airfare
- ½ Day Off
- Transportation to and from the airport
- $500 spending cash
The Stafford location also made sure to celebrate during the workday over the past few weeks too. The customer service department enjoyed a day-long potluck; everyone brought a dish and employees snacked all day. The marketing and client services department celebrated with a white elephant exchange over lunch. Accounting and claims had a gift exchange at lunch in the office too.
In addition to
celebrating with each other, employees were sure to celebrate with the community by giving back. They participated in an adopt-a-family program for Louisann’s Hope House and adopted two families in the area, both single mother and multiple-child households.
The international department also adopted a family for the program.
Stafford employees also transported toys for Toys for Tots from Arlington to Fredericksburg and stored them in a warehouse donated by Richmond McDaniel, via Hilldrup properties.
