To wrap up a year like no other, Team Hilldrup got into the holiday spirit by celebrating in fun, unique ways while working remotely. Thanks to our creative team, all Hilldrup employees across all of our branches were able to enjoy the countdown to Christmas during a three-day event with games, raffles, cash prizes and more!

Day 1: Christmas Virtual Bingo

Throughout the day, emails were sent with holiday-themed phrases to see which employees’ virtual bingo cards were winners. We were thrilled to see so many employees participating to add some fun to the workday. In total, 41 employees received a $25 Amazon gift card. Congratulations to our winners listed by branch below!

Day 2: Christmas Scavenger Hunt

Just because we couldn’t show off our spirit in-person at the office doesn’t mean we couldn’t do so from home! As part of our Christmas Scavenger Hunt, participants searched for items in their home or staged a scene virtually based on different challenges given to employees. From finding a candy cane or Christmas garland, to imitating McCauley Culkin’s famous facial expression from “Home Alone,” our teams did not disappoint with their creativity! Day 3: Senior Management Group (SMG) Baby Picture Guess

Throughout the day, employees received photos of Hilldrup’s leaders as children circa their Christmas’ past. Employees then had a chance to brainstorm which child grew up to be which of the potential 15 Hilldrup senior managers who were included in the game! In the afternoon, a document with all of the photos and a list of possible senior managers was shared for all participants to submit their best guesses.

Each year, Hilldrup proudly hosts a gift basket raffle with proceeds benefitting Rappahannock United Way (RUW). Raffle tickets were sold throughout the week and a link to view the contents of each basket was shared so that all employees branch-wide could participate in the fun.
