Celebrating and Sponsoring RUW’s 2nd Annual Women of Influence Luncheon
We were pleased to be a Gold Sponsor and attendee of RUW’s 2nd Annual Women of Influence Award Luncheon.
Hilldrup was honored to be a Gold Sponsor as well as attend Rappahannock United Way’s 2nd Annual Women of Influence Luncheon on October 18, 2023. Taking place at The Woolen Mill in Fredericksburg, RUW’s Women United Leadership Council hosted the luncheon to honor the legacy of Cathy Davis and recognize Rhonda Cary Fried as the recipient of the 2023 Women of Influence Award.
Hilldrup’s Jordan McDaniel Hinkebein, Marketing Director; Tamika Mitchell, Vice President, HR; Crystal Brown, Director, Customer Assistance; and Linda Rivera, Vice President, Customer Experience & Process Improvement attended and participated. The luncheon included a welcome, invocation address as well as a presentation to learn more about RUW’s Women United’s goals and opportunities. All proceeds from the fundraiser luncheon benefitted the Prosper Mentoring program. After a delicious lunch, a presentation to honor Rhonda Fried was led by Taunya Gardner, RUW board member.
Rhonda Fried is a motivated volunteer and philanthropist for the Fredericksburg community. In addition to her community involvement, Rhonda, much like Cathy Davis, is known for her generous giving, mentorship, influence and support of local nonprofit organizations like RUW and Women United. It was an inspiration to learn about and hear from Rhonda during the event!
Throughout the luncheon, a silent auction and raffle drawing were held as a fun, creative way to generate even more support of RUW’s programming that supports and inspires women throughout the community to lead their best lives.
We were pleased to help sponsor such a beautiful event and appreciate all those who made its success possible. We look forward to continuing to support RUW and their important work through future events and workplace campaigns!
