My name is Dalton Anderson, and I am a Quality Manager at Hilldrup.

Once upon a time when I was finishing my freshman year of college, I participated in the summer internship program – and I never left. I grew up playing lacrosse, and I like to think that helped prepare me for my career at Hilldrup. Just like in the game, working to support our customers is a team sport. We have to communicate, build relationships, anticipate needs, and be ready to pivot. That’s how we keep the ball moving toward our goal to complete each move with zero issues.

In my role as Quality Manager, I track the performance of our drivers and work with them to be sure they are fully prepared for the job at hand. That means celebrating and reinforcing the good and working to highlight areas of improvement plus tips and tricks to aid in their success. Our drivers are a critical part of our ability to exceed our customers’ expectations. That means working together to ensure everything stays on track.

The Hilldrup work atmosphere is so supportive and personal. Although we are a large organization, it still feels small. Most people know each other and care about one another on a personal level. Even after many of us have gone and remained working remotely, I credit our closeness with allowing our team to remain in sync. At the end of the day, quality is the brand promise of Hilldrup, and our department helps to uphold that mission to keep our customers moving!
