Thanksgiving – it’s where families gather around a big table and enjoy lots of delicious food together while giving thanks. But for our first responders and hospital staff, Thanksgiving typically looks like any other day on the job – serving the public and keeping our communities safe. To thank these public servants and celebrate Thanksgiving, Hilldrup was proud to join with the Four Seasons Hotel, Washington, D.C. to help create the Thanksgiving on the Mayflower event!

The annual event provides a Thanksgiving meal – including everything from turkey to potatoes – for the city’s first responders who were on duty over the Thanksgiving holiday. Attendees who stopped by could board Hilldrup’s “Mayflower” to relax and enjoy a candlelit hot meal, courtesy of the Four Seasons Hotel.

The community was so excited about this event that local news station WJLA provided coverage of the holiday’s event – be sure to check it out here!

We’re thrilled that more than 150 seated meals and approximately 350 to-go meals were provided as part of the event. Special thank you to the Four Seasons and to Hilldrup’s Washington, D.C. team for helping make this event possible, year after year. We hope our communities’ heroes had a wonderful and safe Thanksgiving holiday – thank you for all that you do!

Aboard “the Mayflower” there was a spread of treats and hot food to enjoy. First responders and hospital staff who were on duty during the Thanksgiving holiday were all invited to enjoy a meal courtesy of the Four Seasons Hotel in Washington, D.C.

Thank you to the men and women who selflessly keep us safe in the communities where we live and work every day! We’re thankful to the Four Seasons’ chefs and team for putting together such a great spread of holiday food to enjoy!
