Hilldrup Orlando Hosts Open House Event at New Facility
Our Orlando team recently celebrated the opening of our brand new facility with employees, family, colleagues and clients.

After announcing the exciting news that Hilldrup Orlando recently moved to a brand new, state-of-the-art facility, we knew a celebration was in order! Our Orlando team, led by Ed Fitzgerald, Vice President and General Manager, welcomed employees, family, colleagues, and clients to visit and tour our new space. Beyond our Corporate Headquarters, Orlando is Hilldrup’s largest branch – offering a whopping 200,000 square feet of secure storage to customers and clients alike!
On May 18, Hilldrup Orlando, now located at 8000 Vista Reserve, Suite 400, welcomed employees and visitors for our Open House event. Our guests enjoyed the catered event where they had the opportunity to meet the Orlando team and learn more about us. We were thrilled to be able to showcase Orlando’s strategic location, impressive size, and unmatched capabilities.
In fact, Ed Fitzgerald led a tour of Orlando’s new and expanded warehousing space, which has more than tripled in size compared to our previous facility.
“I heard several times that our attendees were in awe of the size of the facility and how organized everything was,” said Ed. “Visitors also loved its location – the ease of access is unmatched as we’re right next to a main toll road. It’s a win for customers to easily find us and for our Operations teams to quickly dispatch teams and trucks.”
Hilldrup Orlando will provide 12,000 square feet of dedicated climate and humidity-controlled storage – including fan-cooled space as well as air-conditioned space – and is home to a Very Narrow Aisle (NVA) Forklift, which maneuvers through our warehouse aisles with precision and ease. Our site also has a truck scale, 50 dock doors and is designed with our customers’ needs in mind with the capacity to hold over 1,000 household storage vaults and a total of 14,000 pallet positions.
With so many assets and containers to move, making the relocation of our branch possible took lots of planning and manpower.
