Hilldrup Stafford’s Josh Dunlap, Van Operator, and Lidia Lungoccia, DB Administrator, not only both work for Hilldrup but can also be found cheering on the Thunder Cheetahs, a girls team in the Stafford Soccer Club, outside of work. Josh coaches the team which includes his daughter as well as Lidia’s daughter. In talking with Josh about his dedication to coaching the girls, Hilldrup’s President & CEO Charles W. McDaniel wanted to treat the team and their parents to attend an in-person UVA Women’s soccer game in Charlottesville, VA.

The game took place on October 1st where UVA played Duke at Klockner Stadium. While there was no winning or losing team as the game tied 1-1, the competitive and inspiring game was a great opportunity for the girls to witness hard work, dedication, and teamwork both on and off the field. After the game wrapped up, the Thunder Cheetahs were able to meet the players – including gushing who their favorite players were! – and get autographs from the collegiate athletes.

Thank you to Josh, Lidia and all the parents who support the Thunder Cheetahs to build confident, talented and dedicated young athletes. We were happy to help provide this experience to the girls and hope it’s a memory they’ll enjoy for years to come!
