Hilldrup Stafford employees recently donated items for Stafford County Public Schools’ (SCPS) “Collect for Kids” Back to School Supply Drive.

SCPS provided a list of school supplies that elementary school, middle school and high school students need the most.  Businesses throughout the local community were asked and inspired to donate to support the local area and school system. From composition books to binders, and glue sticks to headphones, helping to prepare our local students to have a successful year requires having the right materials!

And we can’t forget those who are preparing these students for success, both inside and outside of the classroom: our local teachers! A wish list for teachers was also included and specified materials such as dry erase markers, tissues, paper towels and hand sanitizer. Not surprisingly, these more expensive items are exhausted very quickly during the school year!

We were proud to donate a multitude of items that were collected from early July through August 5th for teachers and students alike. A donation box was located at the rear entrance of Hilldrup’s Corporate Headquarters office for employees to grab a list and drop off donations. Thank you to all who donated to ensure local students can head back to school with confidence and the items they need to succeed!
