Hilldrup’s International department was pleased to welcome visitors from one-group, an organization composed of highly accredited relocation and moving companies located throughout Europe, to our corporate headquarters in Stafford, VA.
John Warlick, EVP and Managing Director, International, and Greg Donovan, Vice President, International, led the tour of Hilldrup’s office and international warehouses for our three visitors. We were honored to welcome Philippa Robinson, COO of Robinsons Relocation Ltd. based out of Oxford, UK; Wouter Hijzen, CEO of DeHann Relocation from Rotterdam, the Netherlands; and Ebru Demirel, President of Asya International Movers based out of Istanbul, Turkey.
As most of our face-to-face meetings are held bi-annually at industry trade group conferences such as FIDI and International Association of Movers (IAM), we were glad to have our colleagues join us in Stafford.
“We all look forward to catching up in person and continuing to do business together,” described Greg Donovan. “Throughout the visit, we discussed each other’s local market conditions, and several Hilldrup updates regarding training programs, facilities, technology enhancements and overall service capabilities.”
This was Phillippa’s and Wouter’s first time visiting Hilldrup’s corporate office so a complete tour took place with the opportunity to take photos and answer questions. Included in the tour was an inside look at Hilldrup’s warehouses specifically dedicated to active international shipments, auto storage, and long-term storage of household goods. We were especially grateful to welcome back Ebru because coming soon in March at the 2019 FIDI Annual Conference, she will begin to serve her term as the first female FIDI President!
We’re grateful for the opportunity to host our friends and look forward to seeing each other again at the FIDI Conference in Amsterdam next month. We hope you’ll visit us again soon!
