Hilldrup’s Sponsorship and On-Field Feature at UVA’s Game Against Duke

Team Hilldrup attended and sponsored the Virginia Cavaliers game against Duke on November 18 in Charlottesville.

Whether we’re cheering on the Cavaliers in the stands or loading the team’s equipment for their away games, Hilldrup is proud to support the Hoos at home and while on the road. On November 18, we were pleased to sponsor UVA’s game against Duke in Charlottesville. Hilldrup employees and their family members attended, and our very own Chuck Mills, Van Operator, accepted the game ball that was presented to Hilldrup during the game.

Taking place at UVA’s Scott Stadium, the home game for the Cavaliers kicked off at 3 p.m. with a private, pre-game hospitality event of BBQ for Hilldrup’s attendees to enjoy. Chuck was featured on the field and introduced along with his wife Sara and their daughter, who is a UVA School of Nursing graduate.

Chuck, who has been a critical member of Team Hilldrup for 27 years, is an avid UVA fan and drives the UVA truck and trailer seen at UVA’s away games, ensuring that all equipment and uniforms are packed, loaded and delivered on schedule.

To make the afternoon even more special, the Cavaliers secured a close victory over the Blue Devils with a final score of 27-30. From the excitement and energy of the game, to having our team and organization represented on and off the field – we are grateful to have sponsored and attended such a phenomenal game. We look forward to attending our next UVA game together with our families and coworkers!
