Welcoming Featured Artists from Stafford County Schools

Congratulations to our featured artists whose artwork is now featured at our Corporate Headquarters!

Parents and students of SCPS visit Hilldrup's headquarters.

Throughout the year, our Corporate Headquarters welcomes visitors from around the country and around the world – but few can say they’re as artistically talented as the local Stafford County Public School (SCPS) student artists whose work is now displayed here. Each year since 2019, Hilldrup has hosted an open house event to showcase the featured artwork, created by SCPS students, and welcome these artists to see their framed art in-person!

From colorful paintings, collages, drawings and more – walking through one of Hilldrup’s most trafficked hallways was truly like walking through an art exhibit. Thanks to Annamarie Bollino, Facilitator of Fine & Performing Arts for SCPS and her team, for selecting these pieces and allowing each piece to be displayed for one year at our office until it’s returned to its artist.

The student artists and their families enjoyed walking through one of our most trafficked hallways where the artwork hangs along with the name, school and grade level (ranging from Pre-Kindergarten all the way to 12th grade!) of each artist of whom it belongs. We love how their creativity truly transforms our space anew every year!

Members of Hilldrup’s senior management team were also on-site to welcome the families and artists and answer any questions about our organization. An up-close look at our fleet was also a way for the students to learn more about us and what moving to or from the Stafford area and beyond looks like with Hilldrup.

We’re so grateful for the outstanding turnout and the excitement and talent that these students brought to our open house event for them. Special thanks to Annamarie and the wonderful art teachers throughout the SCPS system for all they do to foster creativity and fun with their art students. We appreciate the support of the arts in our communities and this opportunity to showcase the talent of those in our local area!

We enjoyed welcoming SCPS students and their families and offering an up-close look at our tractor-trailers to see the inside of a moving truck!

Beyond just getting to see the artwork, we loved hearing from the artists themselves on their inspiration, process and pride in their work. Thank you for sharing your talents with us and all those who visit our office!
