Amongst the many wonderful non-profits that Hilldrup is proud to support, we’re especially thankful for our team’s outstanding work with Move For Hunger. Move For Hunger is an organization dedicated to working with moving and relocation companies to collect non-perishable food items from those customers who are moving; these items are then donated to local food banks. 

Across Hilldrup’s branches, we all are proud to support and offer a lending hand to this non-profit. In fact, Hilldrup Charlotte recently participated in a CMARC Truck Pull event to raise funds for Move For Hunger. Our Atlanta branch, during peak moving season, gladly helped to deliver over 50 bags of food to the Food Bank of Northeast Georgia in support of Move For Hunger. And Hilldrup Richmond collected and delivered 91 pounds of food just in time for the holiday season. We also can’t forget that through our efforts, Hilldrup was named by Move for Hunger as their Mover of the Month for August 2019! We couldn’t be more proud of our teams and the outstanding work they’ve accomplished, especially throughout the past year!

Move For Hunger reported that, to date, Hilldrup has collected and delivered more than 62,600 pounds of food to local food banks – resulting in over 52,200 meals for those in need. Almost 25,000 pounds of that was donated in 2019 alone!  And in 2019, our Greenville branch collected and donated over 17,000 pounds – the most of any Hilldrup branch! Outstanding job, everyone!
