Hilldrup was excited to be a part of UniGroup’s 2023 Learning Conference in St. Louis, MO where we met with our agency partners to learn, network and celebrate wins across the UniGroup enterprise. Taking place February 23 – 26, the in-person event was held at the St. Louis Union Station Hotel with events inspired by this year’s theme of Our Path Forward.

From business updates to leadership panels, there was plenty of topics to explore and colleagues from whom to learn. This year’s conference included a Women’s Leadership Workshop where female agency leaders – whether they be new, seasoned or potential – who are looking to grow or refine their leadership skills could attend. Thank you to Onie Girton, Linda Rivera, Debbie Brosnan and Quanesha Samuel for participating in this event and representing Hilldrup! We were thrilled to have so many Hilldrup professionals in attendance for the sold-out event!

One of the most exciting elements of the 3-day conference is the presentation of awards, which are given during various General Session meetings throughout the conference.  With these awards, UniGroup celebrates the professionals and agents who truly keep our customers moving and made our success possible in 2022.

The Masters Club is a recognition program for United and Mayflower agency representatives highlighting outstanding sales performance. Within Masters Club, a “best of the best” group receives special recognition – the Masters Club Inner Circle.

Hauling Award

The top three agencies producing the greatest hauling revenue in the Household Goods or Logistics business segments are recognized for their outstanding work. For this award, the revenues of agencies under common ownership are combined.

United salespeople and agency staff all over the country work hard to keep UniGroup running strong. Agencies recognized here are the top bookers in United’s Household Goods business segments.

Agents are recognized for the highest international revenue totals from 2022.

Sales Achievement Award

The agency recognized as the top booker through UniGroup Worldwide Moving. The award is based on individual agent location regardless of van line affiliation.

President’s Club award winners demonstrate excellence in annual booked linehaul revenue. Revenue generated by agencies under common ownership are combined under the parent; however, individual agencies achieving $8 million or more in revenue are also listed separately.

Customer Excellence Award

We are proud to recognize the top achievers dedicated to agency quality performance. Awards are based on customer survey results and van line star ratings in the areas of claims, safety, RDBS (revenue distribution and billing system) and quality labor. Honorees are chosen in size categories, which are determined by the total number of household goods shipments registered annually. The agencies receiving these coveted awards are recognized as the very best in total quality performance for their size category.

Van Operators of the Year

Van operators make the difference between a good move and a great one and this year’s winners are nothing short of outstanding. Top van operators are chosen on the basis of quality performance and excellent customer service, taking into consideration cargo claims prevention, adherence to policies and procedures, exceptional safety records and overall performance.

Heart of Quality Awards

The Heart of Quality was established in 2005 to recognize the “unsung heroes” behind every successful move—the move coordinators. The 2022 winners provided customers with exceptional service, earning their confidence and loyalty, as evidenced in their scores on the Customer Survey between Jan. 1 and Dec. 31, 2022.

Caesar Lovett, Director, Fleet Operations, joins Eric Galioto, Hilldrup Van Operator, during the Learning Conference. Eric is not only Hilldrup’s Van Operator of the Year but also, during Learning Conference, he was honored with Mayflower’s 2022 Van Operator of the Year based on a multitude of metrics for Van Operator performance.

Being with our UniGroup friends and partners was a major highlight of this year’s event. We enjoyed seeing everyone and hope everyone had a wonderful time at this year’s conference!
