Excellent customer service begins with well-trained employees. From fully training each new member of our Hilldrup team to offering ongoing training classes, we make sure high quality service is a top priority.
Where it starts
Unique to the industry, our 10,000-square-foot training center – called The Center for Training and Employee Development – is equipped with a fully furnished two-bedroom house, moving van, storage vaults, overseas container and more to give our moving trainees hands-on experience before they ever step foot in a customer’s home.
Each mover is required to complete our training program that includes orientation, packing and moving classes, which are all taught by certified trainers. From there, they are entered into the Coaches Program to work alongside an experienced crew member.
The training never stops
Teaching our movers to properly handle your belongings is just the first step. Our training is ultimately focused on specialized customer care. Each employee not only receives comprehensive training when they join the team, but they are provided with opportunities through Hilldrup University to continually train and improve their skills to better assist you. Depending on their position’s primary function, employees can concentrate on business skills or moving skills through Hilldrup University, both of which include customer service skills, communications techniques, management methods and more.
